Souvenir London Compact - Flawed
This is a gold tone metal large round compact, a London souvenir with the cover containing sketches of the Houses of Parliament, The Tower Bridge, Royal Festival Hall, Tower of London, St. Paul's, and Piccadilly. The compact measures 3" wide. It opens with a push button which works well. As can be seen, the cover has loss of gold paint, making this difficult to clearly photograph. Inside, the mirror is in very good condition. The latch cover for the powder works well and the powder puff is in very good condition, with no powder remaining. This unusual compact, though flawed, makes an excellent gift for a collector and/or vanity display.
